Since graduating from The University of South Carolina in 2009 with a Master of Social Work degree, Erin has worked in various settings supporting adults, children, and families in clinical and advocacy roles. This experience includes outpatient and inpatient behavioral health programs, as well as children's advocacy and military family programs.
Through these experiences, as well as her personal journey into parenthood, Erin's dedication to supporting parents during the perinatal period grew. She is certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. Erin also holds a certificate in Compassionate Bereavement Care through the MISS Foundation, which offers a mindfulness-based, non-medicalized approach to traumatic grief.
Her modality training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Outside of her role as a therapist, Erin enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family and dog.
